FYI on Timeshare ownership, for most people who own a timeshare they know there is a maintenance fee that is paid every year for all the work that is done by the timeshares staff such as landscaping, housekeeping, concierge, pool /spa maintenance and the check-in/check-out personnel. This is above the amount that is paid for the actual real estate. This particular timeshares maintenance fee is over $1080 per year per week. If you breakdown how much you are paying per night at $1080 for the week it is $155 per night to stay in a 5-star resort. Try staying at a 5-star hotel for $155 per night and sleep 6 people comfortable in it also. This is a floating week for 2012. That means any week is available without having to go through an exchange company, including all the high season weeks. With that knowledge I have to ask the same the resort does when scheduling this week and that you choose 3 different dates the first being the one you really want. Each unit includes internet, AC, washer/dryer, dishwasher, full-size refrigerator as well as a nice sized table for dining enjoyment. The surrounding areas have BBQ , pool, hot tub and wonderful historical information throughout the resort. The maximum occupancy for each unit is 6 people. The staff here is very accommodating and willing to help you enjoy your stay on the Big Island. They will assist you in your pursuit of relaxation or adventure. Make sure you visit the concierge with any requests for dining or site seeing. This resort is also a child friendly resort. Sorry no pets allowed. However, if you are traveling with a pet and need accommodations please let me know so we can forward some referrals for a kennel or pet resort.
